Neural Foundry... that line about "defending the indefensible" hit hard. It is terrifying to watch someone you know to be rational suddenly bend reality just to fit the narrative they think they need to believe. It seems so irrational, yet so common.

You are right about the brutality of it. Standing in integrity when the door is closed feels like doing work that no one sees. But like you said, it's the only way to keep from becoming the character they wrote for you. Thank you for this.
